Chania's old town was magical with its Venetian harbor and narrow streets. The sunset cruise along the coast was unforgettable. And the traditional villages in the mountains gave us a real taste of Cretan life. We didn't want to leave!

The ancient ruins at Knossos were incredible - standing in the throne room gave me chills. Vai Beach with its palm trees was like paradise, and the local tavernas served the best moussaka I've ever had. Crete stole our hearts!

Rethymno's old town was charming with its Venetian walls and colorful houses. The day trip to Elafonissi was worth every minute - the water was so clear you could see the fish swimming around. The fresh Greek salads were amazing!

The mountain villages were such a pleasant surprise - Archanes had the best baklava I've ever tasted. And the wine tasting at a local winery was fantastic. Crete has so much more to offer than just beaches!
