Belfast Accent Note: The Belfast accent is distinctly Irish - we say "you" as "yaw," "yes" as "yez," and "I'm" as "Ah'm." We call everyone "pet" and say "top of the morning to ye" (though that's more Irish than specifically Belfast!). Belfast is incredibly warm and welcoming - expect plenty of craic (fun) and friendly conversation.

Titanic Belfast was absolutely phenomenal - I'm a massive Titanic fan and this museum exceeded all expectations. Walking on the actual slipways where the Titanic was launched gave me chills. The SS Nomadic next door was a perfect addition. Belfast should be so proud of this attraction!

The black taxi tour was the most important thing I did in Belfast. Our driver was a local who lived through The Troubles, and his perspective was invaluable. The murals are so powerful - I felt like I understood Belfast's history in a way I never could from a textbook.

The Giant's Causeway is one of the most incredible places I've ever visited. Those hexagonal basalt columns are like something from another planet. The coastal drive was stunning, and the story of Finn MacCool (the giant who built it according to legend) made it even more magical.

The Crown Liquor pub was incredible - the interior is like stepping into a Victorian time capsule. The ornate tiles, the carved wood, the gas lighting - it's the most beautiful pub I've ever been in. The Guinness was perfect too. Belfast knows how to do pubs right!

St. George's Market was such a lively experience - so much energy and great local food. I bought beautiful handmade jewelry and the best soda bread I've ever tasted. Belfast Castle had incredible views over the city. I couldn't believe how friendly everyone was - I felt so welcome the whole time!
